When So Good arrived in 2017, Zara Larsson was nineteen and already had international hits to her name.
She deliberately took her time with the album. Working with different writers and producers, she wanted the record to be broad in sound as long as pop remained at its core.
“He probably won’t show up anyway”
One of the most memorable sessions was for Don't Let Me Be Yours. Larsson was due to write with Ed Sheeran, but later said she did not really expect him to appear. He did, and one of the album’s tracks grew out of their jam session.
Symphony, her collaboration with Clean Bandit, also came together remarkably quickly after the group heard her earlier hit Lush Life.
